WHAT IS JUNGIAN ART?

Jungian art is an approach which focuses on exploring the psyche through creative expression and hands-on techniques. Drawing from Carl Jung's analytical psychology, it utilizes art, dreams and myths to access and integrate unconscious material facilitating personal growth and understanding.

Jungian Art vs. Jungian Art Therapy

Although therapeutic in nature and similar to Jungian art therapy, Jungian art is not a treatment or a cure but rather a process of circumambulating our inner world with curiosity.

IABET offers courses, events and private sessions to help you understand the symbolic language of the soul and discover the messages it wants to tell you. These techniques, which include painting, drawing, creative writing, bodily exercises, dreamwork, reading of myths and a systematic reflection of the process, promote a greater connection to the innermost self and an increased meaning for life.

MY STORY

....................

I’m Yasmine, a Jungian art therapist and Jungian art facilitator based in Helsinki, Finland.

After working as an artist and illustrator for a decade, I wanted to delve into the deeper layers of art making. I discovered Jung through my own journey into the unconscious. What opened for me was the vast mystery and potential that lies hidden within the inner realms of the psyche, and which each and every one of us can access through our creative processes, dreams, and imagination.
